Diet To Clear Acne
If you suffer from acne, you definitely have tried many ways to get rid of it – lots of lotions, creams, pills and home remedies. But in the end only the one solution sounds reasonable – you need diet to clear acne!
So, this article is going to provide you with some information of what should this diet include. I am going to tell you what my diet contains and you will be able to get the valuable information for you.
My way to cure acne is to provide my body with lots of vitamins and minerals. I do it with eating lots of fruits. I prefer green ones like kiwi or apples, because they have a little amount of sugar. Okay, anyway, here I am going to put my example for a diet to cure acne:
Morning: Some grain bread with low-fat butter and cucumbers/tomatoes. Sometimes I eat cheese instead of the vegetables. I personally don’t drink coffee, but if you do, just try to drink 2 cups for the day at most. I drink tea for breakfast. it’s best if it’s green tea.
Lunch: My favorite lunch meal is lettuce with tuna fish. it’s best, because the tuna gives me the needed fatty acids and the vegetables give me an iron an lots of vitamins at the same time. It’s my favorite meal, but I love to try some other things – I often eat some vegetables like broccoli with red meat or with chicken. The point here is to choose some food that has more proteins than fats. I also eat for lunch turkey meat with vegetables – carrots or tomatoes.
Dinner: in the dinner meal I include the same foods as in the lunch. What I do is to change it every day. For example if I eat tuna fish and lettuce for lunch, I eat something else in the evening. It’s important to remember that you have to eat less in the evening, so your organism can take all the vitamins and process them.
What else I do? Well, I drink a lot of water – at least 8-10 cups a day. And I don’t drink it at once – I’m just trying to make it natural when i am drinking water through all the day. It’s a good thing and you should do it, too!
Now, remember that this diet to clear acne is mine and worked on my organism, so it can work on your too, but it also cannot work. So the best thing you can do is to try some different meals and after some while, to choose what is best for you! Wish you luck!

Diet to Clear Acne – Advice About Your Acne Diet
The hardest thing about developing a diet to clear acne is that it can be really hard to find out what breaks you out and what doesn’t. The problem is that once you eat something that causes your acne, it might take a day, week, or even a few weeks for that pimple to show up. This can make it really difficult to narrow down what is creating your acne in the first place.
To begin, I suggest that you eliminate one or more of the common factors that might be the culprit, including dairy, gluten-containing products like wheat, rye, barley, oats, or any derivative of these grains, and most products containing refined sugars (candy, cupcakes, hohos, etc.).
The reason why these foods are crucial is because they are common causes of acne for a lot of people, and if you have a specific reaction to eating just one of these it can keep you from getting your skin clear. So, in your diet to clear acne, it’s important that you limit the most probably causes of your acne from the start.
Now eliminating these foods obviously this isn’t very easy to do, especially if you eat these things every day. However, there are plenty of resources on the internet and on paper that you can search for to find replacements for the foods that you drop out of your diet. Simply try searching for dairy-free diets, gluten-free diets, etc. and pick what you think might work for your specific eating habits.
Also, you don’t want to drop all of these at once, for obvious reasons. Although it might seem like a good idea to eliminate all of the possible options from your diet to clear acne faster, you might get rid of something that isn’t bad for you- keep that in mind as you toss that ice cream in the garbage.
Finding the right Diet to Clear Acne can be an arduous process, but it is a great step to use in your daily struggle with your skin.
Diet To Clear Acne – The Dos and Don’ts
Acne and pimples are a problem that needs to be addressed at a deeper level. Most people are just too busy buying topical solutions to control their acne breakouts when they should ideally be taking steps to address the problem from the inside. A diet to clear acne is a great approach as it will help you overcome your acne problems for good.
What makes up a general healthy acne diet?
A bad diet can result in oily skin which can be a great breeding ground for acne and pimples. Most of the people who suffer from acne are those who have an oily skin type. Oily skin is generally caused by a diet that is very high in saturated fats and trans-fat. It can also result out of diets that are very rich in carbohydrates. In addition to being bad diet acne foods, saturated fats, trans-fat and carbohydrates can also lead to other general health problems such as high cholesterol, increased risk of heart disease, obesity and so on.
Diet to clear acne – The 6 Do’s
- Water – Are you drinking enough water? A good way to tell would be to see the color of your urine. If it is not clear, you probably need to drink more water.
- Fruits and vegetables or color foods – Try to include a good portion of fruits and vegetables in your diet, preferably raw.
- Essential fats – While saturated fats and trans-fat is bad for you, good fats such as oils from seeds and fish oil are very good for your body and skin.
- Increase fiber – Increased fiber in the form of whole grains, beans and other products can improve your digestion which will reduce the toxin levels in your body.
- Avoid alcohol, tea and coffee – Try to avoid or restrict these beverages to normal levels.
- All the above tips will add up to what is also called as an alkaline diet acne solution where you try to control your acne breakouts by altering the pH balance in your body to favorable levels.
Diet to clear acne – The 4 Don’ts
- Watch your sugar intake – Try to substitute sugar with honey and avoid sugary drinks, pastries or other food items that are drowned in sugar.
- Avoid refined carbohydrates – It is best that you avoid bad carbohydrates in the form of white bread, pasta etc.
- Watch the canned food – If you are living on a canned food diet, you could be consuming a huge amount of chemicals in the form of preservatives that will not help your skin problems.
- Deep fried foods – Instead of deep fried foods, go for steamed or grilled options that are much friendlier for the skin.

As you can see from the points above, a good healthy acne diet is one that is also good for your general health as well and you will be well advised to make some changes for the benefit of your skin and your general well being.
